Job Title: Retail POP Display Designer (Freelance)

Type: Freelance, 25–40 hrs/week

Start: July 2025

Length: 3 month, potential to extend

Location: Remote (US preferred)

Compensation: up to $45/hr DOE

We’re looking for a sharp, talented designer with real experience crafting in-store POP displays — especially for the convenience, liquor, and grocery space. If your portfolio includes retail displays, structural concepts, and engineered solutions that have hit store floors, we want to see it.

This is not just a visual design role — you should be able to ideate, sketch, engineer, and spec. The right fit has both creative vision and technical precision.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Designing custom POP/POS displays (floor, shelf, counter, etc.)
  • Sketching concepts and translating into full production-ready specs
  • Engineering displays for real-world use: stability, durability, cost-efficiency
  • Collaborating with internal creative and strategy teams
  • Bonus: 3D rendering and visualization to sell-in concepts

Must-Haves (Don’t Apply Without These)

  • Proven portfolio of POP/POS displays for retail/CPG environments
  • Strong mechanical design and engineering capabilities
  • Skilled in translating creative ideas into production specs
  • Solid understanding of materials, build constraints, and retail manufacturing
  • Availability to take on multiple projects and deliver on deadlines

You’ll Stand Out If You…

  • Have designed for the alc/bev or CPG sectors
  • Can provide 3D renders of past work
  • Balance creative thinking with practical, scalable execution
  • Understand the difference between “cool on screen” and “real in-store”
  • Thrive in fast-paced, feedback-heavy environments

PORTFOLIOS REQUIRED — especially ones showing store displays, sketch-to-shelf systems, or production-ready POP builds.
